Ashni was founded with a simple belief that lighting can be both meaningful and sustainable. Every collection is inspired by nature and handcrafted using materials such as banana fibre, handmade paper, bamboo, and reclaimed wood, creating pieces that bring warmth, character, and a sense of calm to everyday spaces. We are honoured to have been featured in The Hindu in 2026, where the story behind Ashni and our journey as a design studio was highlighted. The feature also showcased two of our collections, Vyoma and Amara, celebrating their nature inspired forms, handcrafted details, and thoughtful use of sustainable materials. It is always encouraging to see our work and the values that guide it recognised by a publication that appreciates design, craftsmanship, and innovation. We are grateful to The Hindu for sharing our story.
